That would be fuckin' funny if it wasn't true...
How old are the kids?Yes, spending 4 days in Spearfish then 3 days in Custer. I went on a family trip to devil’s tower when I was a little older than my oldest now and remember it being amazing.
Devil's Tower?.........Maybe instead of talking you should be a big boy and practice your fucking parking
But now, the motivations. I’m gonna be in this region for a week of camping pretty soon. Can’t wait

Ever seen "Close encounters of the third kind"?Devil's Tower?.........
Also be sure to check out the High Plains WesternHeritage Center/Museum https://www.westernheritagecenter.com/ It’s built on part of the Inlaw’s ranch and the Deadwood Stage brought Great Grandma from the railhead in Wyoming (it is on display). A lot of interesting things to do there.Be sure to take them to the fish hatchery in Spearfish.
Cool spot, short time.
Just huge fish and cool history.
Fun fact, I was the best man in a wedding in the back yard of the “main house” there once years ago.
Spearfish Canyon is awesome.
Little gun range on the L as you head up. Its rumored Chad Dixon uses it from time to time…
Needles highway is a must.
the short walk around Sylvan lake is pretty cool. I still remember my first trip around it right before I turned 5.![]()
wait until you see the next generation Chevy Camaro...... you'll spit your beer....
If I didn't live where I do now, I would be out there or NorthMaybe instead of talking you should be a big boy and practice your fucking parking

Mine were 7-8 year olds.
We visited the Bear Country safari and they really enjoyed it.
YepDevil's Tower?.........
I’ll have to see if these will fit in to the wife’s itinerary but thank you for the suggestionsBe sure to take them to the fish hatchery in Spearfish.

We found out some friends of ours are moving to the Custer area in a few months so we may be checking out the housing market while we’re there. We’ve been loosely talking about getting away from Denver for a bit. I think I have my fingers crossed a little harder than my wife, I’m pretty over working downtown and really want to get back to the country

Custer is great.
Push harder to go….
I want out too, but be 7 more years…..
Ice Cream at the Purple Pie Palace in Custer.
Darn good stuff
For boys the age of yours, the hatchery is a cool 30-60 min stop.
They have machines to buy food and watch a bunch of fat 30” trout go crazy!
Neat history, and 100% a stop for kids under 10.
Bet she has planned it. Its a thing in Spearfish
