Well i picked up a Black Jack and plugged it into the FX3 AUX port with stereo cord, and it will not turn on or off the decoy using the AUX button on the remote. Both the caller and the decoy have batteries and they both work, but the remote on/off for the decoy isn't working.

Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution?

I want to try it out in the morning, and was really hoping for that remote feature.

No cable came with it. Instructions call for a 3.5mm male to male stereo cable to be used. The same cord will operate my Ipod or phone to an external source, so i believe the cable is fine.

You should have gotten their cable with the unit. Call them up and request one and they will send you one and then you will know if that was it. I am guessing it will be. Over the years, I have pretty much quit using decoys on coyotes and will generally only set them up when I am targeting cats.

Well that is the plan kinda. Setting up for a cat, but a curious dog will work too. I will call foxpro Monday and see what they have to say. Just bummed it wouldn't work for tomorrow.

Why have you decided to quit decoying for dogs? I am new to this predator game.
