Update: Recieved the DMR-II and Kestrel I ordered. It appears the packaging for the scope is updated and includes; bikini-scope covers, tools, lens-cloth, 2” sunshade, and a scope coat/cover.

I have the Kestrel on eBay already and it’s up to $350. So that’ll put me at ($1085-$350) a total of: $735 excluding shipping/fees.

Which is a pretty solid deal.

Yeah, that's the same packaging and accessories that come with the Pro and XRS2, so it makes sense they updated the standard DMR2 to match.

It was for me.
I paid as much for this xrs2 as I did a few months ago for my dmr2pro that was on sale plus a 20% rebate. Actually just got that 275 buck rebate card in the mail last week.
The gap bundle deal right now makes it about the same price net if you exclude paying for the kestrel, I don’t need a kestrel so that would have been 400 bucks wasted and why I didn’t go for it. This let me get that equivalent value but without the unnecessary extra gear.

Now the tough decision of which scope is gonna have to get replaced.

If you don't need a Kestrel, and don't want to bother reselling it to make the difference back, then the open box price is definitely a "shut up and take my money!" deal.

That’s a heck of a solid deal. If I knew of someone that would pay $350 shipped for the Kestrel setup, I would order a DMRII or Pro immediately. Hope you enjoy it.

I ordered a refurb XRS-II shipped for $1106 yesterday. I didn't need a meter and had great luck with a refurb hunting scope from them last year. You couldn't tell it was even out of the box.

It's the Sportsman model, so it has a limited version of Applied Ballistics. You can only have 3 rifle/ammo profiles, no custom curves, no range card, one target at a time, and a few other limitations. You can upgrade it to the full AB Elite package for $190 through the NK website. Once you do that, the only difference in the upgraded Kestrel and one bought with AB Elite and Link is the sticker under the display. I have an upgraded Sportsman that I use for PRS, and the upgrade is worth it.

I got the g3. The difference between an illuminated vs non illuminated g3 is that on the illuminated has crosshairs same thickness the entire way and the nonilluminated has a crosshair that’s half the thickness for the first mil each way to provide a more refined aim point. That said I have a version of each already and I don’t mind it either way. Cant help with an h59, thought about trying it but I already know that I like the g3

I tried to order one of the open box sale ones yesterday but between Bushnell's E-commerce site and my credit card fraud alerts, I couldn't make it happen direct with Bushnell, even after calling customer service (they can't take these orders over the phone, only internet). Then they sold out the scope I wanted last night. So this morning I emailed Ken (above) at GAP about other models in this deal. He saved the day - Now I'm getting a new scope for basically the same price as the open box one AND I get a Kestrel. Thank you's all around to Ken, GA Precision, Bushnell and Kestrel

I ended up with a second XRSII from bushnell. Ordered last night, shipped today.

I was going to get the DMRII PRO for my upcoming 308 build, but it sold out quickly. I have an XRSII already, so I decided to pick up another.

I was looking at the Bushnell website, but couldn't find measurements for the scope. Anyone have measurements of how much the bottom of the turret/reticle housing sicks out from the bottom of the tube. I have a set of seekins low rings and it looks like it might be a bit close. I dont have the scope in yet, if it's going to be too short and hit the pic rail, I'll have to swap for some higher rings.

Got my XRS2 (Illum) and likewise my scope appears new. The box is pristine as well. I'm very satisfied and may get in on the DMR II Pro as well...
