Got about a 1k budget, been looking at the LRHS-2, Meopta Optika 6 3-18 with mrad reticle, 4-14 SHV, or settling for a PST 3-15 for $550 and spending the rest on other accessories. Going on an 18" grendel built more for precision not carrying and I'd like to have a little more magnification than 15 but not afraid of going under if the glass is better.

If you can spring another $150 or so there’s a DMR3 in the PX. I have one and it’s really great glass. All the features/functions are nice too.
Don't pass on a good deal for a higher power scope.
Something like 25X can be pretty sharp dialed back to @ 15X.
ED/HD glass helps.
Picking the reticle you like might influence your choice.
I have a Element Titan 5-25X56, 34mm tube that is nice up to 20+.
PX price is usually $600-$650.

Have an assortment of Bushnell LRHS.1, an LRHS.2 coming today, LRTS/i, DMR, ERS, DMR2 and a DMR3. Really like the entire line, but for use on an 18” Grendel, and for a well balanced package, the LRHS/LRTS is your better bet. Have them on a handful of Grendels. I’ve put the DMR2’s on 6.5CM AR’s and the 3 on a CM bolt gun, and they get heavy-12+ lbs, and have very useable glass and reticle, but seem oversized for a small frame Grendel.
I wish they’d put a G4 with just slightly heavier crosshairs/dot in the LRTS and reissue the line with/without illumination at center 2 mils, but it seems Bushy is uncertain of this very capable SKU in their lineup and whether to support an obvious gap.

You willnot be disappointe dwith the Meopta Optika6 3-18x50 FFP Mrad reticle scope. I love mine. Repeatable accuracy when dialing and it is built tough! You can dial in the drops using Stelok Pro too. Reach out to Doug and I bet he can help you out. These scopes have been flying off the shelves since they arrived, so don't be surprised if you have a to wait a bit. Tremendous value when you look at quality over price.
