It really depends on how you use your devices. Do you read wind by looking at environmental cues or do you measure it with the Kestrel?Would this be a replacement for a Kestrel or used with it? I share a kestrel elite with a buddy and wear a regular watch daily. Considering one of these if I could get by without the kestrel.
From a ballistic calculator standpoint the watch is missing humidity and wind information. If you share this data from your buddies Kestrel then you would be fine with just the watch. Same if you don't use the Kestrel to measure wind.
