Getting pretty excited

It is ironic that people criticize california's gun owners for not standing up and voting or writing their congress men, then repeat the same pattern.

If it can happen to us in California -- it can happen to you in your state. It was not many years ago when I could carry my rifle down the street and and shoot in the hills behind my house. It didn't seem long ago (but it was) when I was 10 or 11ish, would ride by bike through my neighborhood with my 22 slung on the was over to go get my buddy and go shoot. Hell it was easy to shoot in my own backyard. Not today.

Depending on the survey California is 2nd or 3rd only to Texas - So my point after seeing this stuff first hand, is to vote, write, do whatever you can not wait until they think they have zero opposition and start confiscation.

NUMBER guns per state (although we have many many more in all our states)

I find it sad that the very thing we have to protect us against the Government, is attacked the strongest when in fact, we have some of the highest percentages of responsible gun ownership in the world per number of guns vrs intentional murders. And even then, much of it is drug/gang related brought in by the international drug supply. Let not forget we let a lot of people into our Country who bring their gangs and respect level (lack of respect) for life with them.. Just think how much of the baggage from South America is wrapped into our "blue" bar.

The state that Beto nearly won.
(This is not aimed at you personally)

Robert. His name is Robert. My belief is that the only people who call him by that nickname are the ones who are managing his public image to curry favor with the Hispanic voters. He's as much Hispanic as Elizabeth is Cherokee. He claims he's been called that nickname all his life, and we're supposed to infer from that he must REALLY identify with the Hispanic population because they have honored him with a nickname normally used only for true Hispanics...just like in the movie where Kevin Costner got honored with the name, "Dances With Wolves." I may be wrong, but I"m guessing no one ever called him that until he started his political career. I HATE being played.

What the F does "Beto" mean?

Is it typically preceded by "Master"?

Oh yeah, could pretty much double, triple or even quadruple that Texas number most likely in that case. Registration isn't required for anything, and there is a good bit of trading and dealing (outside of means that require a FFL, since that transaction would be used for quantification purposes).

"A rifle behind every blade of grass"

Whether or not that quote is historically accurate (debated), doesn't matter. It's rather accurate here, outside of the cities. This is from first-hand experience in my pool of friends from firearm retards to gunsmiths!

My trick worked. You should not have said anything i am trying to get people to actually read the constitution.
I'm glad I could help.

I like arguing with ant--gunners on the constitution. When they say that the 2nd Amendment doesn't apply to the individual right to keep and bear arms but that it was reserved for the "Militia."

By then I ask them; "Do you know what Article I Section VIII of the Constittuion says about the "Militia?"

That's when I get the deer--in-the-headlights look. I don't tell them what it says but continue with questions like:

"Do you know what the Dred Scott decision was about and how it addressed the right to keep and bear arms?"

"Have you ever heard of the doctrine of selective incorporation and the 14th Amendment?"

"Have you ever heard of United States v. Cruikshank, 1876?"

"Have you ever heard of Presser v. Illinois, 1886?"

"Have you ever bothered to actually read about the case of Miller V. the United States, 1939?"

By the time I get to the last question they usually concede that I know more about the constitution than they do. To which I retort, "Then who are you to lecture me on what the 2nd Amendment means?"

It's almost like these conversations are scripted with these ignoramuses. When they see that they are going to lose the argument on the meaning of the 2nd Amendment they say something like, "Okay. I'll give you that the 2nd Amendment is an individual right. So, it needs to be abolished."

Which also tells me that it's futile to argue with stupid people.

I had a guy at a Corporate even say "The constitution is old and outdated with it's draconian gun rights, it is time for a new constitution" WTF everything he enjoys including the right to say what he said and not be incarcerated, is because of the Constitution.

If people do not understand what the second amendment does for the first, they should shut up, because maybe they don't really care about the freedom to speak out...

It's these same pussies that would not be able to answer some of these questions with any alacrity and reasoning.

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you wouldn't mind it if a squad of U.S. Marines were put up in your house without paying you any rent or reimburse you for feeding them."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if the Police made routine inspections of your house to ensure that you don't have any firearms or anything else that is illegal."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if you kept your mouth shut when it came to criticizing the mayor where you live, under penalty of imprisonment."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if you were thrown in jail for speeding until you trial comes up in a couple of years."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if one of your creditors takes one of your children as a slave for non-payment of a debt."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if we also abolish all state and federal legislative bodies, elect a king by popular vote then he could raise taxes whenever he wished. You would have no say in any scheme to levy taxes."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if the same king told you when, where and how much you have to work."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if the cops can stop you and search your vehicle anytime they wish and for however, long they wish. They should be able to detain you for a day or so in the interest of public safety."

"If you think we should abolish the Constitution, you would not mind it if the king takes position of your daughter as his personal concubine."

I could go on but then again, people like the Corporate idiot are too incapable of a reasoned thought process.

I think the left will be pushed to mass violence, all the ingredients are here, a Mueller report saying they have nothing on Trump will be epic right about now.. I cant wait, this shit is fun just watching. better than Game of Thrones.

Indictments for all the senior FBI from a secret grand jury and hilary would be a life well lived by all of us and a reward from god....hahahhah gotta have dreams huh.

I wish all of that would materialize ,however i'll remain optimistic...until then SOSDD.

The AG nom - also believes that civilians should not own semi-autos..

That's why I posted we need to be concerned the 2019 national gun ban Mrs. P and other Dems put out in post #7 and be concerned about Trumps propensity to "make a deal" especially if it can keep him from being a "looser" like his move to ban Bumpstock by just a declaration and not a law.

Look at the bill's press release, wonder why the Bumpstock provision is in it??

He wants the Wall and not to look like a idiot for the bumpstock -- to me it looks like a perfect storm.. We sit back and not make it known that this is BS and it will be 1994 but worse with CA type laws attached..

Tyrants get erect and scream "Yes!" like Meg Ryan when she was good looking in Sleepless in Seattle reading those questions thinking they could do those things.

Why would her self-serving ass and the democrats not be in the US talking about the wall, be it good or bad?

Look - I don't think a 100% boarder length physical wall is the answer, but we have more than enough technology to monitor it most of the boarder.

But how the hell is anyone going to come to any resolve if they are off in other parts of the world, not meeting and asking their party not to meet either.

This entire cluster is very embarrassing - I would love it if the House and Senate had to give back pay + a large fine for everyday they closed the government.

I want to know what happened to this:

After all, the President promised the American people that “the eight-year assault on your Second Amendment freedoms has come to a crashing end.”

No one believes an assault weapons ban is going to pass, just look at the ammo and guns in stock.... I can buy an ar15 for $450. It's going no where and everyone knows it or this shit would have been done sold out.

If anybody tries to use the analogy of a frog in a pot with slowly heating water...please fuck off. Or at least try it, no video , never happened.

I think all the numbers are wrong even the number above. It seems highly unlikely that 19 1/2% of all of the population or 32% of the population between 18 and 65 would all be out hunting the same day. Just to reframe that represents 66% of every male in the state in that age group.... Somebody still needs to work lol

Ps I get it kids and females hunt too

I've heard people say shit like this too, and I have to tell you it rings to the tune of treason in my book. It's so downright entitled that people think they don't have to protect themselves nowadays, even from government authority. Seriously, as a population why would you want to throw away the option of self-defense, nobody is forcing Americans to purchase firearms. It's so outstandingly dense and insulting to the people who have been victims of government violence throughout history.

The wise latina on the Supreme Court said it on the record yet she held up her right hand and swore on a bible to defend it.....was she lying.

How is her diabetes doing these days?
