I see a lot of references to ghillies, but outside the military; do people use them a lot? Inquiring minds want to know.
Personally, I am intrigued by the entire concept.
But also see enough drawbacks (fire hazard, drowning hazard, hypothermia hazard) that I seriously wonder whether they are worth the time, effort, and maybe even discomfort involved in their construction and use.
So, aside from the cool factor, who's actually using them?
