Fieldcraft Ghillie Thus Far

Alright so this has basically just been a pet project something to keep me busy during the Alaskan winter. No formal training and no expectation to be getting shot at at any point but I would love any constructive feedback! (And yes I know I wasnt wearing shoes in the picture gotta love REI socks I plan to finish it up with a pair of olive drab combat boots.

To shiny, you need to break it in properly... Go do tough mudder wearing it then you should be good after you get hosed off... lol

I know it still needs some time out in the mud and what not once the snow melts I will go play in the mud a bit I am sure I can find a good mud hole around here somewhere.

Are you refering to a particular area or saying it needs to be even thicker all over?

I'm betting he was being sarcastic as I would say that you'd be better off taking a hedge trimmer to it, and stuffing the bare spots created...with veg from your location.

Busted. Man take out 2/3 of that jute. Jute and burlap isn't used to conceal yourself its used to tie in vegetation. All you're doing with that much is adding weight and making yourself look like a pile of jute in the forest. With the rifle take off everything and try using spider mesh and rubber bands too.

And take all that crap off your weapon and wrap it with flat bulap or sniper veil and rubber bands..

Looks like a good starting point.
I think vegetation is imperative
as far as weight goes that's your call. I applaud your effort looks like you spent a good deal of time on it.
