So i have been struggling getting a couple loads figured out on my 7mm SAUM, 6.5 Creedmore, and 300WM.

1.) 7mm SAUM was showing pressure signs at low charge caused by the 215 primer in my rifle but others are using them. Took some advise from a guy on here and loaded 61 grains RL26 with a 210 primer instead of 215-resulted in 2918FPS 9ES and a 5 shot group that measured approx .362 with a 180 Berger an no pressure signs. Could push them harder but no need.

2.) 6.5 Creedmore Bergara HMR 22 inch barrel. 49 grains RL26 with a 215 primer-results 130 Berger AR 3008FPS with a 11ES and primers just starting to show pressure. .297 5 shot group.

3.) 300wm Remington 5R which I put a fat bastard brake on.....67 Grains R17 215 primer-results 2890FPS with low recoil pulse with a 208 Amax and federal brass. Results-..497 but shot a 2.4 inch 5 shot group at 470 yards so I will leave it there. Could easily push it harder but I don't see the need.

I was really on the rifle today and my loading really worked out and YES....the 6.5 Creedmore is really doing 3K FPS out of a 22 inch barrel!!lol The 215 primer was the key to that load and the 210 was the key to the 7mm SAUM which was built by SAC on a long action and Proof Sendero CF 24 inch barrel.

I was really impressed with this little Bergara HMR. It's completely stock with the Bergara muzzle brake.

I have the same gun. I've only been shooting Hornady Match and it's as advertised. I'm about to have enough brass to work up some loads.

I'll have to try some of the Bergers and RL 26. What was your start load with RL26?

I started at 44.5 grains with the 140 and 45 grains with the 130. I started with 210 primers but switch to 215 and got more speed and better SD with the higher charges. Good luck with your rifle. I have quite a few full customs but this gun just fits as a all around rifle. Put a Proof Sendero light 20 inch barrel on it and it might be perfect!!lol
