Well new to me. It's a Savage 10FP with a 20in bull barrel. It came with redfield rings but they are soon going to be set aside for a egw rail. It has a aftermarket cheek weld and a trigger job already and feels real nice to bad the guy I got it from is out of his mind. Hopefully soon i'll be shooting to about 400yds or so soon

That'll work. You'll really like the EGW rail. I recently put one on my Remmy 700 and it's machined really well and needs no bedding at all. Can't say I like the cheeck rest .... but whatever works best for you is just fine. I like the warn tactical rings on my EGW rail. They let me take the scope of and put it back without rezeroing.

Am anxiously awaiting getting my Savage 308 back from Kevin Rayhill at Stockade.
