Nope. It is Cold Hand Arms mini-gun. They just got back from DeGroat's mini-gun armor's class with it.

He had to save all his money for ammo
The owner was only letting people shoot blanks. When they loaded real ammo in it, the recoil was too much for the tripod they were using. The gun rocked back and was about to start launching bullets into the ceiling.
That is awesome. Were you guys using M80 with M13 links? The kick with live ammo will torque the hell out of the tripod and even more so once you go high rate. Do they have any Dillon Aero parts or is it all GE with that mini?
In the USAF we use Dillon Aero on our 60's. We have low rate (33 bullets per second) and high rate (66 bullets per second).
Let me know if you need any ammo.
I have 2 sealed cases and two cans of 7.62 NATO on M13 Links.
Ammunition is 9 to 1 ratio M80 ball to M62 (OFM) Tracer.
Ammo is not stolen USGI either...
Got a good deal on a trade and have is stacked up in my ammo locker.

What is the point of having variable fire rates? Just curious.
Low rate is for getting on target and once we are the high rate just lets everyone know we mean bussiness. We shoot very long ranges with this weapon and accurately as well.
Wish they were recording when they started shooting live ammo as I would have liked to see the mini-gun rock back. Just shooting blanks in the OP's video and this one.

I was just on the receiving end of the hot brass falling on me from a 160th Chinook over top of me, and that was no fun! I can't imagine what it's like with the pointy part coming at you!!

Few manufacturers, gun construction, and most are sold to government are probably the main price drivers. The one in the videos the OP and I posted is brand new. There are just a few specific ways to get a new one. If you can come up with the money and meet the requirements, you too can own a new one.

yes, those tracers are ricocheting in the footage at dusk (but none were coming back at us in the UH-1, it just appears that way)
in fact, all bullets have the potential to ricochet, but you just happen to see it happen when firing tracers... makes you ponder how often that occurs anyway, and you're just not seeing it, right?

There's PLANS, on the internet. Got a machine shop? AND a lot of dough? Who, but some "special" people, and the army, could afford to "feed" one? O MY GOD, that thing is a wet dream!<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: Jumper</div><div class="ubbcode-body">How in the hell did you get your hands on a mini-gun?
