Arrest is a strong term, at least in the way most people would think. These people wouldn't be booked, cavity searched, and held for bond. They'd just get a police escort to work, basically.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of it -- the government was setup in such a way to provide this as a mechanism by which it functions... or doesn't.
Those folks look like they're extremely happy to be going. Sounds like they're getting a giant tax payer funded party. In a properly functioning system that would cause them all to lose their seats.
The root cause of all of this is that democrats control information. They have control of the media, even Faux, and they use it to peddle information to the older generation. Then they have the tech companies, which allows them to control the information to the younger generations.
It's interesting how they've done the latter. People on the right just can't seem to understand that it's not that they're getting banned that's the suppression -- the suppression is silent. They cite something similar, shadow banning, wherein you think your stuff is ok but it's just hidden. No, it's more nefarious then that. All of the big 3 do siloing wherein right-leaning or even center (what we call center they call far right) is put into a silo. People who already align with those viewpoints are able to see it. So it feels like you're not isolated, but the reality is they basically put the right into a jar to prevent it from growing.
It's that siloing that allows these fake narratives, or just suppression of information, to really thrive.
I'm going to go with nothing will come of it like nothing has come of it all the last times the Democrats did this (they do it fairly regularly).

So here's the deal: now that they have covid the question is when this vote will take place. Its at least two weeks out now. Kick that can, find other ways to not be present. Want to keep this going? Have all democrats tested for covid as these roll off quarantine. I bet you can get it to where there is never a quorum, just a rolling blackout of democrats for voting in a special session. And they never have to leave Texas.
That part gets very interesting. See, these people thought they were going to put on a political show that would get them a free vacation and publicity for the psychotic far/alt left. Now they have a real problem.
If they are not able to establish quorum before the end of the first session -- redistricting falls to a committee that is 100% Republican. These Republicans will most assuredly redraw the district lines to remove as many Democrat seats as possible and change the shape of politics in Texas for many years to come.

I used to think Abbott was doing a pretty good job, until I saw that he had accepted 6 figures (as did the LT Gov) from hospitals and clinics doing child mutilations and chemical castrations on little boys. Accepting money from Child Abusers, and butchers, is an automatic hard pass for me.
Given that there has been everything from court proceedings to federal senate hearings digitally, I don't see any reason why this has to be postponed and not done virtually.
