I have two (2) GP-100's. I love the revolvers and have a 4" and 6" barrel, shooting both .38 and .357 magnum from both revolvers.
I have only one complaint, my old eyes are beginning to have trouble picking up the plain black front sight so have investigated changing to a more visible front sight.
I do a lot of business with MidwayUSA so was going to purchase the front sight blades from MidwayUSA.
I have found a front sight at MidwayUSA that is listed as Front Sight with Red Insert for a Redhawk that appears to be the exact same sight that Ruger sells for the GP-100.
I have contacted Ruger and have had no joy getting any information if it is the same part.
So my question is, will the front site from a GP-100 fit a Redhawk and visa versa; will a front site from a Redhawk fit the GP-100?
