Grand River Tactical

Re: Grand River Tactical

I was told I would have my 2 vests in hand by the end of last week ... well that came and went with no package on my front door step. Guess what showed up this week... yep, that's right, NOTHING!

Re: Grand River Tactical

I heard from a member that he is shooting at a few matches in May. And he gets to shoot at these matches for free since he's putting his items on the prize table.. Im curious to know if these "items" are YOUR items that are paid for..
Time for yall to get an Attorney.. Class action law suit IMO..

Re: Grand River Tactical

Sure glad I pissed in his soup a couple years back. After his name calling tantrum I would never buy shit from him which luckily I guess saved me the ordeal you gents are dealing with.

Perhaps with my post he will have to log on and tell me what a pathetic old f**k I am again so then he can explain to you gents why you don't have your money??? Must be nice to be self centered and narcassistic enough you can compete with other peoples cash and have another member explain and handle the transactions he took money and didn't deliver on!

Frustrating to be out over 300 bucks with no end to this nonsense in sight. I sent him money for my bag 7 months and one day ago. I don't care if he is a good guy or not anymore, what he is doing to people is WRONG. It's flat out THEFT. </div></div>

Man this has gone from bad to worst....I wanted a GRT bag and was about to order months ago, but staying up on this thread makes me glad I did not put money in this crap shoot....I do not care how good a person you are or how good your product is, you dont take money and then not ship....

When I hear that people have put down hundreds of dollars, charged to CC's and no product, man you read about people going to jail over stuff like this...

I feel sorry for you guys who are out money, look at other alternatives for a good rifle bag...

Interesting. Ive passed up shooting in several matches so i didnt fall behind. Maybe he should have done the same early on.

Im starting to get a bit annoyed myself...

Re: Grand River Tactical

You know, I was nice and polite in the e-mail requests and notes I've sent to this point. I understand small business folks getting in over their heads. I appreciated he offered up the refunds and I was hopeful this could all wrap up with that simple act.

If they haven't gone out this week, it's time to gather up all the names of folks who haven't gotten refunds or gear and start making the complaints formal. I'm actually a little nervous to see just how many of us have refunds or gear outstanding and the total dollar value.

It's probably several thousand dollars. It really is too bad it's coming to this, but I am starting to feel that we have no other choice than litigating this.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Here is the deal.

I was away for training for work Feb.13 through March 3. My expenses for that are being reimbursed and when I get this, payments are going out.

Since February 13 my day job has consumed nearly every waking hour. The project I havebeen working on is coming to a close. I have said several times that checks will mail out, but work required me to be on the road for nearly a month, and that had to come first, so as soon as I get reimbursed, I will be mailing checks as fast as possible.

As far as shooting matches, I will not be going to Reade, it is not going to work out. I have only ever shot 1 match that I did not pay for, and was invited to shoot. I put stuff on every prize table every match I have ever attended, and never shot one for free. That being said, I don't plan on any recreational time until every one has a refund for this. I do owe everyone hear for a bag they paid for, and everyone will be compensated, I promise.

I am not trying to screw anyone, I am not a dead beat, I have just had a horribly long run of extenuating circumstances. The reason I watered making gear was to be able to shoot matches around the country, isn't ironic now its the reason I can't.

Aaron, I also promise that Your and Daves vests are going to be done this weekend. Your other vest is going to ship with this one. If you get them and don't drop the dispute, fine, I will give them to you free for the hassle.

I have received all the info from rak187, so there is no reason for further contact with him, intact please stop. I apologized to him today for the hate mail he is getting.

Go away. We don't need to hear this shit anymore. You have no dog in this fight, no skin in this game. Nick has received large amounts of cash from people here, promised refunds and or not delivered product. OVER ALMOST A YEAR!

Nick, I want a refund. No more excuses. This is flat out bullshit. Whatever you have to do, do it. All of us have been more than patient. You owe me $307.00. I worked hard for that money, you didn't. GIVE IT BACK.

It sounded good though

. Regardless, ALL these guys have a rightful claim. All it will take is for one person to start it. Its one excuse after another. Remember guys, "time". Look up "Statute of Limitations", you might be getting stringed along. Next thing you know, time is up and you can't do sh*t!

Re: Grand River Tactical

Trolling? I think not. I had a dog in this fight, but you see how quick I got my $$$ back. I dont fu*k around! You owe me $$, I send 2 nice emails. After that, the legal team comes in. Im the kind of guy that will spend $500 on a attorney to get $100 back, take his ass to court, and make him pay me more than what he needed too. This is the price of doing business IMO. To many scam artists out there want to take advatange of people these days. Nope, not me! Not trying to stir any pot. Just giving all the members on here options on what they can do (before its too late). FYI, Statute of limitations in Michigan on Contracts is 6 years, Fraud (which fits this situation more better IMO) is also 6 years. Unless you have a contract saying he is going to give you X proiduct in X amount of time, then the contract for statute of limitations does not apply.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Nick -

"When I get reimbursed for my travel expense" is a tad more nebulous that I feel I want to stomach.

The fact that we have had a string of promises of refunds blown past with no communication and no responses to e-mail makes that unacceptable.

It's a pain in everyone's ass to start filing complaints with credit card providers, paypal, ic3.gov and local LEOs. It's not in our best interest or yours. I just want my refund or goods in hand by next week so this whole mess can go away. But frankly, after multiple false starts and a refusal to communicate directly, it's looking like that's our only option.

Re: Grand River Tactical

I attempted to file a dispute with Paypal, but unfortunately I think we waited too long and they won't help. So, we are pretty much SOL at this point. For those that paid with a credit card, you are probably better off.

I honestly think we aren't getting our refunds. As mentioned, it has been lie after lie, getting strung along for MONTHS regarding this situation. What do you expect people to do Nick? I think about the only thing we can do at this point is contact the proper authorities and report this as fraud.

If I don't have a check in hand soon, I'm contacting the Law. Sorry dude, you had your chance.

Re: Grand River Tactical

I went through and organized the remaining orders. Nick has all the information needed to finish up the remaining refunds as soon as he gets his refund check. I believe there are 8-9 guys left. Refunds are coming, a few on this site have already received them. Obviously, the smaller amounts were refunded right away, larger amounts are taking longer. Claiming he is running off with your money is false.

I know everyone is pissed, I get that; I hear about it everyday in my PM box. I won't make excuses for Nick and he knows my thoughts about the whole ordeal. I figured I would try to help out since I know shit happens. However, the few of you that decided to threaten me with legal action can eat a dick, I have zero to do with anything except to try to help organize this whole cluster-fuck. Also to Mr. Tough Talker, (you know who you are) I will be at ASC, the Snipers Hide Cup, and the 24-hour match if you want to discuss your inappropriate PM's in person.

As of this moment forward I am done receiving any PM's or E-mails regarding this matter, I understand everyone is pissed but I don't need the headache.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Rak, sorry that happened. I, for one, knew that you were only trying to help matters and for that, I appreciate it. I know that this situation had nothing to do with you. It isn't your business.

Regardless, I think you understand the frustration with the situation. A complete lack of communication from Nick and promises after promises that come and go with once again, no communication. It's getting to the point of absurdity. Scratch that, It IS absurd.

I have ran my mouth a little, and I probably should choose my words more wisely, but when you are out over 300 dollars and get fed a line of BS time and time again, it leads to a hot head. And I do have every right to be upset.

Listen, I don't want to see Nick get into any kind of legal trouble over this whole fiasco, and I am willing to let this situation slide for a little bit longer. But damnit, I want my money back and I don't want to be told anymore BS regarding this situation. Nick has got to alleviate this problem and soon. It's not right.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Refunded smaller amounts first? Hmmm... so my refund gets put off and delayed because i ordered too much and sent him too much money? Why not go in order from first to last? What about being a repeat customer? Apparently none of that matters in a situation like this.
So, I will continue to sit and wait for my promised refund.

Come on now, you know you want to see the small claim's judge's face when plaintiff moves for class certification.

He unknowingly hit on the idea of a unilateral contract, though, and the fact that the statute doesn't begin to run until a breach occurs. Hmmmm.....

Re: Grand River Tactical

Most refunds will mail out tomorrow. The order they go out is the order they were received.

I will do my best to PM each of you later tonight to let you know they are going out. The rest will mail out next week or the following.

I appreciate everyone's patience with me on this. As I have stated in the past, I never intended to do anyone wrong, but things got really upside down for me around November and am nearly back to normal. Please be patient, as everyone will get their refunds, and approximately $2000 worth are going out tomorrow. To all else, your my top priority to get paid in full, and there is not an hour in a day that I do not think about it, stress about it, and try to figure out a way to make it happen faster. If you think that I blew all these payments on stuff other than the materials for this, your wrong, it is just not true.

I sincerely apologize, and am trying my hardest to get this back on track. I am making an effort to stay on the hide and work this out, as infrequent as it may be. Please be patient, as you all will get what is owed to you as soon as possible, and that is not just lip service.

To those who have no faith and want to call names and talk shit - I deserve it, but only to a point. Please keep it civil while this is getting taken care of. I admitted to have screwing this all up more than once and am working hard to rectify the situation. It should not have happened, it should not have taken this long, and communication should have been better, but it did, is, and wasn't.

Re: Grand River Tactical

I wasn't in on these deals but the mag pouches I got from you are really nice. I know it sucks not hearing from someone while waiting for your gear after sending funds. Sometimes a short heads up here and there on whats going on goes a long way. I know a lot of people had a lot of their money tied up for a while and it was not fun for you either. Being behind the 8 ball blows.

When you get the GRT gear going again and have inventory in stock I will try some more. Hate that it happened like this but I hope you get it all worked out and good luck getting everything in order man.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Here are the names of those who's returns when out today:

Falk $262
Robeson $352
Dermody $299.50
Burt $307.00
Cleveland $277
Martin $247.00
Jones $517

According to my records that leaves Vaughan, and Bui for refunds and David777 who is working with me for a different resolution satisfying both parties.

If there is anyone here that may I may have missed, please post here, send me a PM or an email (grandrivertactical at gmail.com) and if you mailed in payment, or used Paypal.

There will be no more groupbuys, at least not on custom stuff. I would like to offer some things in the future at heavily discounted prices to Snipers Hide members, for two reasons. It makes me feel good, and secondly, we are all a bunch of guys who share common interests, and to get my gear in your hands is the best way of marketing that I can have. Word of mouth, and word of mouth alone is what has kept me working 10-12 hours a day for the past 3 years solid, and far more often than not 7 days a week, making what averages out to minimum wage, after materials, fees, facility costs, and taxes. I like making gear, is why I continue to do it.

I wholeheartedly know that my gear is as good or better than anything else that you can have, and if your looking for a piece of kit that will last you a life time of use, this is it. There is nothing chinsee or under engineered on anything I sell. I warranty everything I have ever made for life, and I have had exactly .002% of my outgoing product be returned for repair.

Fact of the matter is, I am not a business man and I surely can not provide customer service as expected. I am a bit of a recluse, who prefers working on a project I have had in my head for a while, rather than go have a drink with some fellas on Friday night. I don't like talking on the phone, browsing on line, and I don't like sitting in front of the computer theorizing about shooting technique. I would rather be laying in mud working it out in 25mph winds or turning out some cool gear.

All that aside, and back on topic, GRT will continue to not accept new orders until possibly June or July. I am planning on focusing on the distributor of my Data Book Covers, as well as the possibility of a couple new ones for other products. I will probably take this in a manufacturing only direction instead of a storefront all in one shop. I am currently the only small business that I know of manufacturing gear, maintaining a website to sell this gear, answering questions about gear from my website and here, all while juggling all of this trying to make it work, all by myself, while working a 9-5 job that pays the bills and feeds the kids.

So again to all, sorry if fell apart, sorry I took so long to take care of this, and to the remaining few, SniperCJ included, you will be taken care of as fast as possible.

Re: Grand River Tactical

Nick,

Already posted here my sincere apologies.

I would say that I will continue to be your customer, so you open the site to Sales please let me know.

Things are not always fair and perfect but it's up to you to rebuild what has collapsed.

If I can help in any way, you can count on me, even not knowing him personally.

Best Regards

Selva
