There will be no more groupbuys, at least not on custom stuff. I would like to offer some things in the future at heavily discounted prices to Snipers Hide members, for two reasons. It makes me feel good, and secondly, we are all a bunch of guys who share common interests, and to get my gear in your hands is the best way of marketing that I can have. Word of mouth, and word of mouth alone is what has kept me working 10-12 hours a day for the past 3 years solid, and far more often than not 7 days a week, making what averages out to minimum wage, after materials, fees, facility costs, and taxes. I like making gear, is why I continue to do it.
I wholeheartedly know that my gear is as good or better than anything else that you can have, and if your looking for a piece of kit that will last you a life time of use, this is it. There is nothing chinsee or under engineered on anything I sell. I warranty everything I have ever made for life, and I have had exactly .002% of my outgoing product be returned for repair.
Fact of the matter is, I am not a business man and I surely can not provide customer service as expected. I am a bit of a recluse, who prefers working on a project I have had in my head for a while, rather than go have a drink with some fellas on Friday night. I don't like talking on the phone, browsing on line, and I don't like sitting in front of the computer theorizing about shooting technique. I would rather be laying in mud working it out in 25mph winds or turning out some cool gear.
All that aside, and back on topic, GRT will continue to not accept new orders until possibly June or July. I am planning on focusing on the distributor of my Data Book Covers, as well as the possibility of a couple new ones for other products. I will probably take this in a manufacturing only direction instead of a storefront all in one shop. I am currently the only small business that I know of manufacturing gear, maintaining a website to sell this gear, answering questions about gear from my website and here, all while juggling all of this trying to make it work, all by myself, while working a 9-5 job that pays the bills and feeds the kids.
So again to all, sorry if fell apart, sorry I took so long to take care of this, and to the remaining few, SniperCJ included, you will be taken care of as fast as possible.
