For all of you Kentucky residents. Governor Beshear signed 2 very important laws into effect yesterday. Please note that they do not take effect until July 11 since there was no emergency clause attached to either of them.
The first is HB 484 allowing Kentucky landowners and private business owners to carry concealed deadly weapons on their property without fear of being detained or arrested for not having a CCDW permit.

Secondly, HB 500 which basically states that cities within the Commonwealth cannot pass firearms restrictions laws that are more restrictive than the current federal and state level regulations.
