It’s 80 pages long. 6 of them have said they will agree to it unless there is public pushback. I didn’t catch the names but if you live in an area where these gents are, I suggest you contact them and tell them your disdain. Otherwise, this will likely pass.

The issue is that there is no '' common sense" anything with democrats. There is no infringement that is acceptable because we know it's just another step and will also be misused and is a VIOLATION of the 2nd Amendment.

I've not seen where there has been any new fire arms regs or laws ect proposed or accepted by any pubs, but they will undoubtedly get in the position of "give a little to get what we want" . Senator Bill Cassidy, I’m sorry to say, is my Senator. I voted for him. During his campaign, he praised Trump, and all of Trump’s policies and successes. The ATF has always been looking for private sales that make a profit. This is the way they get table top gun dealers and people who are buying and selling privately. They don’t use the ATF to say that you’ve bought or sold X number or too many.

Instead they bring in the IRS and look for any profits you might’ve made and whether you paid taxes on those profits. They get you on tax evasion because there is no federally mandated number of guns that you can buy and sell before becoming (aka being classified as ornaccused of being) a dealer. And the ATF doesn’t want to create a number. High or low.

The IRS on the other hand can totally ruin your life for any amount of unreported income.

I’m writing this letter to implore you to vote against as a “No” vote on the Safer Communities Act of 2022. This piece of legislation if it were to be voted into law is not only an assault on the 2nd amendment but is a violation of the 4th, 5th, and 14th amendment of the US Constitution.

With that being said, if you are a “Yes” vote on this piece of legislation then you will have shown that you no longer represent the citizens of Texas as a republican but rather as a democrat.

If you are going to operate and vote as a democrat we are no longer in need of your services. The truth is, we both know that it is virtually impossible to primary a sitting US congressman and especially a US senator. You are also aware that US Senators are not subject to term limits.

If you vote “Yes” on the Safer Communities Act of 2022 then the most efficient way to remove you from office is for ALL Texans to vote for the democrat challenger against you in 2026. I know the republican party has taken it to the bank that republican voters will always vote for the lesser of two evils which in this case would be you however those days are over Mr. Cornyn.

If you vote as a democrat then you are a democrat and should be voted out and that is what is going to happen if you vote Yes on this piece of legislation. I will work along side the Texas GOP and any other grass roots organization to vote against you in 2026 no matter who the democrat representative is including Beto O’rourke if that’s what it takes to get you voted out of office.

If you vote Yes on this bill then I suggest you prepare your resume for lobbying jobs after 2026 because you sir will be voted out of office not by a blue wave but rather a red wave.

In closing, it was telling that at the recent Texas GOP convention in Houston, Texas you called your own republican constituents from Texas a “Mob”.
