H4350 Rifle power

Sigh, I was really hesitating because this is $45 more than powder valley. But this is the only place have them in stock.

I watched the stock chang from in stock to last ten then last one. And finally gtabbed the last one...

Still, thanks for the info.

I take it they won't ship, didn't not find a website for them.

They are an hour north of Charlotte, NC. They only sell components and reloading gear. Their major market is gunshows. Brandon is the owner, and he indicated that he had no issues at all in getting H4350. In fact, I had considered purchasing more powder, to which he responded by saying, " Just call me when you crack the seal on your last keg. I will get an order sent to you, and we should have no issues sourcing."

Contact them ([email protected]). Just had 16 lbs and 2K Federal Primers Shipped to me. Shipping and Hazmat ($20 shipping $30 Hazmat) were expensive, but it's still cheaper that buying it locally (when it's in stock). All of their prices are very good. 8lb kegs are $185. 1lb bottles are $25. The Berger 130 Hybrids are $190 per 500.

To put those costs into perspective, my local PSA sells 8lb kegs of H4350 for $241(Yikes). So, you really need to order more than one bottle or keg to make if worth while. I'm receiving an order from them today.

I just emailed him. He currently has 1# bottles, no 8lb jugs of H4350. His 8lb price is good, and his 1# price is ok. Even so in the world of any H4350 is better then none - I'm all over it.
My 7WSM eats it like its candy under the Warner 7mm 151s; so does my 30-06 Ackley under the Warner 30 Cal. 180s.

Glad you were able to source the powder.

Every mainstream supplier is gouging people. Seems Brandon is trying to be fair. I was pleasantly surprised by that.

Yeah I appreciate the heads up and contact info. We chatted for a while, he seems like a solid good guy. Gouging.. yeah look it up in teh dictionary and you'll find Bruno's picture. He gouges on price but doubly so on shipping. OUCH

Ayoung1 you may be too late on the H4350. He had no #8 jugs when I called (I wanted to get at least 2), and was down to his last 35 or so #1 bottles (then I put in my order) if he has 10 of the #1 bottles I would be surprised.

When I bought my 8 lbs from reloading unlimited I forgot to use my new customer 10% discount. Shot them an email and they quickly refunded 10%. Pretty good customer service on their end.
In the meanwhile my 8 lbs is shipped. Woohoo~~~

Ive seen plenty of 1# on the shelf of all my LGS over the past few months and as early as last week. 8# pop up every few months but dont last long. Kings in King of Prussia has a bunch of 1# on the shelf or at least did when I stopped in for some N340 a week ago.

Word around the campfire is there is a disruption in the normal supply of H4350 and certain entities are switching to IMR 4350. I've been using AA4350. Much easier to get.

Details on AA4350 please, I have a few pounds of it in case I can't get H4350.

One detail is if you look at the container of AA4350, it says that it is manufactured in Canada. Most IMR rifle powders are manufactured in Canada. I would doubt very much that there are more than one rifle powder plant in Canada. I would say AA4350 would be very close to IMR 4350.

Powder valley has 1 pounders of H4350 right now but no 8 pounders if anyone is looking

Powder Valley now allows backorders on their new web site. When I called them a month ago regarding availability of H4350 in 8# jugs, I was told they only get it in small quantities, which they use to fill as many of their current backorders as possible. Hence, it never gets advertised as an in stock product on the web site.

I was told the best way to get an 8# container is to backorder one. Likely wait time was estimated at 2-3 months. I ordered a month ago and am still patiently waiting for the shipping notification.

Yesterday at 9am they had an 8 pounder showing in stock so I called up to verify that it wasnt lying to me and was told that they did not anymore, I refreshed the page and they were then showing as gone. So I asked if they had the 1 pounders in stock and the lady told me that they had one case, 10 bottles. So I ordered 8 individuals and I havent been told that they cant fulfill the order yet.

Good to know, I have been wondering about that as the new site will allow you to ad anything to your cart and checkout. I'm going to order two kegs and just wait. I think that is easier than constantly looking online for vendors that have stock.

The only price I'm usually willing to pay for 8# H4350 locally is $210-220 max, since that's about as low as it gets unless I order online. Of course, it is somewhat easier to get it here in Florida than in some parts of the country.

Where in Florida are you? I'm in Miami but I don't mind a little drive to score some H4350 if I can get it.

Below Daytona Beach. I usually buy from a local reloading supply house. He also goes to all of the local gun shows, of which there are many. If I'm looking for H4350, or any powder in 5-8# jugs, I usually call ahead of time to see what he has. If he has it, I'll pay right then over the phone. If he doesn't, he'll take my order. I don't mind paying him up front either if that is necessary. It's no different than paying for mail order.

Dang that sucks for you guys. My guy locally in Michigan has it for $186.95 plus tax. With all you guys being short, it makes me think I should get another 8lb since I use it for 3 different calibers.
