What barrels do you prefer?l have not fired mine for over 3 hours!
Just changed out the barrel on the Woodsman. This is it’s 3rd.
The 1911 I have no idea how many barrels it has had since it was issued to a family member in 1917.
I have several of the worn out barrels , other worn out parts from both pistols, all the barrels from the Woodsman, original worn out box and papers from Woodsman, worn out grips, magazines etc.View attachment 7384357

They tempt me but Im not sure what I gain over my S&W Model 36.
Not very old , thinking it was manufactured in 1974. Was passed down to me by my Uncle , a long time local grocer. Spent its life under a counter below his cash register.
IF it had the box , it would be close to a 100% gun. Looks unfired !
Many moons ago, I had one of those FN/Browning 1922s with all the nazi acceptance marks. Super neat shooter indeedOne of those Browning designs with the recoil spring around the barrel?
I traded a similar Nazi marked FN of similar type toward a S&W M39.
Neat guns.

Jesus, carry gun? Pocket artillery? My custom .500 Smith and Wesson Magnum carry gun shown next to my 1911 for comparison. I built both.
