Everyone should visit the San Jacinto monument and read all the inscriptions and tour the whole place. It is truly inspiring. I used to have a great picture looking down the battle ship Texas at the obelisk when it was moored next door.
The former drummer and front-man for Genesis fell in love with the Alamo’s story as a 5-year-old when he saw the Disney production of “Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier.”
Actually, he has a show with his son, Jack, and they went back to the Alamo. He was so drunk/high at the time, he doesn't know if he actually pissed on the building or not, neither does his wife. But he did give an apology for doing it if he did.
