Last year I offered a hunt for a couple of veterans and now is the time again. I have hunt leases in alabama and mississippi and offering a couple vets a three day hunting opportunity for deer. Season starts mid November to last day of February. Rhildy77 made this hunt last year and had lots of fun. He took a 13 point and his 5 year old daughter took a nice buck for her first. He will hunt with me again as well since we are now lifelong friends . I'm doing this out of thanks for your service. First two responders wanting to come are in. Thanks vets and have a great weekend.

Hey guys mark is a standup guy. As he stated in the first post I went down and hunted with mark along with my daughter. It was one of the best hunts I have ever had the pleasure of doing. Here are pics of the two bucks we took. We will be back down there this year as well. Mark thank once again for doing this for the veterans.

Memorial Day is for those that died.

The ultimate service and sacrifice.

Remember them, not the living, that's what Veteran's Day is for.
yes, I totally agree. Maybe this should be Veterans Day thread. This is just a way to honor service members , past and present, to let them know some people are thankful for what they have done and what their doing. It is all about honoring the fallen, their families. And those who served along beside them. Next year this will be done on Veterans Day. Sincerely hope this hasn't offended anyone. It was just the best time to get ahead and schedule this for our veterans.

One of the best way to remember The Fallen is to take care of their brothers who made it home. I think many of The Fallen would feel the same way. I'd much rather have people do something good for living vets than put a wreath on a grave. Had I not made it home, I would have preferred that people took good care of my teammates than visit my grave. Just a different perspective, but don't discount the enormous value that Mark's efforts have for some folks.
