I really need on of these in 6.5 PRC for a sheep/deer rifle? Recoil decent for a 5.5 pound rifle?
Just got my shipping confirmation. Should have mine early to mid next week. Once I get it I will cycle a few mags and get back to you CMack96. I haven’t seen anyone mention any issues with feeding. It must have been just the earlier ph1’s.

Got my element on Thursday. Haven’t shot it yet. Mine came in right at 5lbs 5oz. Cycled about 10-15 mags and didn’t have one feeding issue. Once the rain stops I’ll be hitting the range
My buddy received his the day after I got mine. He topped his off with a swfa 3-15 and I think his gun is right at 7.5oz. I put the swfa ultralight on mine and I’m at 6.8oz. Both guns shoot really well so far. Hornady precision hunter 143eldx and got right around 1/2 moa with 3 shot groups. Both guns took around 15-20 rounds to settle in before they started hammering. We are going to try some Berger 156’s next. Just for fun we put some data in the kestrel after sighting in and had first round hits out to 800.
We did notice when trying to shoot a 5 round group both barrels seemed to get hot and groups opened up. We would have 3-4 shots at 1/2 moa and then have the 5th open up to around an inch. Nothing concerning for us as we didn’t get these guns to be shooting matches or 10 round strings. I’ll add more once we have more time with them and once we shoot the 156’s.

I ordered an element from seekins and they said 6-7 weeks. So should be here first week of June. Have a leupold Mark 5 going on it and am super excited for it to arrive.
Ya my email was 4-28. He did quote me 2 totally different prices for cerakote? I don’t know anything about Justin or his knowledge of exact time frames but i hope he is right in my case

I called Seekins today and talked to a guy named Harley he said that they just found out at the end of last week that stock production is delayed and it’s probably going to be about 10 weeks. Just an fyi update.
I’d highly recommend them. Super light, and dead accurate. This is with the Berger 156’s.
Nope, handloads with H1000, virgin ADG brass, and Fed 210M’s. Velocity with the short barrel was around 2810.
