Its a good fish for eastern MA though at 4 plus pounds......looks healthy.

Just stumbled across this thread. Keep him fishing! It’s healthy and outdoors. Ty and I still fish every chance we get. It gets harder to find the time as they grow up, but, it’s great time spent together even if the fishing is slow.

Started the day fishing for bluegill, I noticed bass busting the top along a deep weed line. His personal best on his live target frog.

My 10 year old is addicted to fishing as well, finally showed him that sitting in the back is the place to be and ole dad has way more going on up front than fishing.

i'm not much for fishing (former commercial fisherman), but the kids bugged me to get a rod and a license.. so the month of april we set out to fish every time we wanted a sushi meal. we only keep big rainbows as a rule, or browns over 18" or fish that are hooked badly

ended up with a 100 fish for the month. we took off plenty of days.. not much for pics but we snagged momma for one mission and she took a few
