I am new to everything. My plan is to start with the ruger 6.5 creedmore.

I would advise you to put in membership at Palmetto Gun Club. They just opened the roster to an additional 200 people.

I am sorry to say went over there about two years ago. Not very friendly. Everyone came across as uppity. So never went back.

There are definitely some older shooters who aren’t friendly. Fortunately, i rarely see anyone when I’m shooting.

I'm in Charleston and a member of PGC, we are at the end of a major overhaul of the range right now. If we can link up I'd sponsor you as well. There are some codgers at the range but there are some great folks as well and there is always plenty of room to shoot all the way to 800 yds.
