Hello from Connecticut - born and raised in Tennessee

Hey folks,

Been reading the forum for a while and decided it is time to introduce myself. As the topic states, I currently live in Pawcatuck, CT and moved here due to work. However, for 50 years I lived in Tennessee, except for 4 years when serving in the USMC. Definitely will be looking for a rifle range.

I have not found a place to shoot rifles yet. Do you have any suggestions? As for pistols, I shoot at Academi in Salem.

I belong to both Mid South Sport Shooting Association and K&M Precision in TN, but only get back there a couple weeks each year.

You can put an application in at Bradford Sportsmans http://www.bradfordsportsmensclub.org/ Or Ledyard Sportsmans http://www.ledyardsportsmanclub.com/ which has a 400 yard rifle range. Also Groton Sportsmans is supposed to be opening up their rifle range to 600 yards from what I heard.

Also Granby Bow and Gun club in Granby MA has a 1020 yard range. It's a little drive but worth it. You can join right on their site very easily. http://granbybowandgun.club/

Where are you working at in the area? I live right down the road in Groton.
