Looking for some advice on a Trijicon for an LWRC M6A2. I would prefer an optic that is usable for CQB training as well as hitting silhouette targets out to 200 yards but not the best at either one.

I prefer a Trijicon because of not having to turn on a switch or replace a battery, but there are too many models out there and I don't have access to all of them to make a decision on my own.

So taking into consideration field of view..rapid target engagement..and hitting downrange accurately, is there one specific model that I should consider? Thanks for the help.

Re: Help choosing a Trijicon

I like the horse shoe reticles with red dot in center. They make several different size ghost rings too. I have the TA-31H-6.8 and the ghost ring is around 8 inches at 100 yards. I use it for caribou and bear out of the stand; great with low light. The larger horse shoes are better up close, but the ghost ring might be say 16 inches at 100 yards which is too big for most hunting.

Trijicon has a super nice catalog, call them and you'll have it within 2 weeks; look at all the reticles and acogs available.

I'm real happy with the acog and just ordered another one. They are listed at around $1400, but are sold a little over $1000.
