Help choosing lightweight scope

Hey guys. Been looking through the hundreds (maybe thousand) thread about scopes, but still can’t seem to decide. When one start looking good, there is a thread tearing it apart.
This will be for a rifle to carry around. Tikka Roughtech.
Wants:
- 19-22 ounces
- MUST track perfectly
- Locking turrets (preferred) or capped
- illuminated would be nice, but not a deal breaker
- best glass (for my price range)
- needs to be $1000 or less

So far looking at:
Vortex Razor HD LHT 3-15x42
Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44
SWFA 3-15x42 SS
Any other suggestions??

Of the scopes you mentioned, I like the Zeiss. I think their illumination control is superior to that of the Vortex LHT, which has a push-button.

I bet you need to check the tracking on those personally. Non of those scopes as far as I know "should" Track perfectly due to your budget requirement. But Id put my bet on the Zeiss if I have to.

if reliability is one of the most important features to you, then go with SWFA

Light, cheap, reliable…pick any two. A gently used, or possibly a demo Swarovski Z5/Z5i would meet all your needs.

It’s a slippery slope, but if you bump your price up by a couple hundred dollars your options expand a lot.

I'd also love to hear more thoughts and suggestions on lightweight scopes.
