Had some ideas and such but the video would have been 10min long then instead of 2 min. Anyways whoever gets the most views wins so please help a brother out and watch it. Here is the link! Please help me win this by spreading this video around. This contest is based on views. Thanks again! Shoot through a wedding ring

Sadly, I will not make myself out to be a shooting bad ass on the interent. So the answer is no. That barrel was actually clean when I went that morning. In fact, that load Im shooting in the video is not that impressive. Its a 75gr BTHP load and Ive got some work to do on it. I changed my barrel about a month and a half ago. This contest was announced a month ago Thought I had a load worked up for my rifle. Went to the range....nope. So Im trying to shoot this video and my rifle wont shoot.I finally found a load that would shoot 3/4 MOA and shot the video to get it online. Again, I could have done this with a Surgeon at 100 and 200 but by using the AR I was able to post it in ARFCOM's AR forum to get more views. Its basicly a dot drill anyways. Thanks again for viewing it. Besides....whats not impressive about a 1 shot 1 hole group?

Nice shot, and best of luck in the contest. </div></div>

Well I thought I had a load worked up. Went to the range....lucky if it shot 1moa. Great....now I need to shoot through this ring and I dont have a load. So after working up a load I did it the first time. I need to mess with it more but as soon as I got a load that would do this I went with it. I need to test this load out further as the 75s normally shoot better past 200. Load is 24.1 of RL-15 with 205M primers and a 75gr BTHP. I use Win brass. I could have just used a Surgeon and put several in there but I wanted the AR because more people watch videos with that in it. Cool factor. Thanks for watching it!

Is that a Noveske? In the video your rifle appears to have a Larue upper on it. Not trying to start a flame session here I'm just not very familiar with Noveske rifles.

Nice video by the way.

Specs on the rifle: Noveske barrel, Larue stealth reciever, Nightforce scope
I think it said close to 18,000 views now, wow!

Re: Check out this video of my Noveske Recce

Thanks guys! You gotta read this post in a jeepforum. My buddy posted it over there and off all the forums I thought I would hell from about the simplicity of this shot I did not see it coming from those guys. This one is the best though. And yes I reamed the hell out of his arse for this stupid comment.

I worked on the movie Shooter with Mark Wahlberg and was there everyday watching him train with a professional ex-military sniper. This sniper could pick off the same shot as yours posted with a Remington 700 at 1200 yards consistently. He could get dead accurate with shots all the way up to 1800 yards. Outdoors, with climate, heat, wind, curvature of the earth, etc. all accomodated for. AND in a few days, he'd taught Wahlberg how to do it with no assistance. Interested in seeing those details? Watch the special features of the movie.

So no, 100 yards with either a bolt or gas rifle, no matter what caliber, doesn't impress me. I mean, I probably couldn't do it and it does require skill, but there are FAR more skilled marksmen out there.</div></div>

I have seen a paintball shoot 1000 yards within a 1" group and kill every living thing behind it with its force and superior ballistics! Paintball guns are at par with most AI AW-50 rifles.

I really like your sense of humor. Nicely said.

Re: Check out this video of my Noveske Recce

Tell VanBCguy you will let him borrow your rifle and let him recreate the shot. The only thing he probably worked on for that movie was pushing play on the DVD player. His fat ass couldnt hit the broadside of a barn at 100 yards!!!! There is always a hater in every crowd.

Re: Help me and watch this video of my Noveske Rec

Just watched the vid & sent it to some of the guys I know that like to spam...err...forward emails to EVERYONE on their contact list. Hopefully it'll help your view count. Best of luck with the contest & that one heck of a nice looking rifle you got.
