I have 4 chronos, including MS3 and Labradar, as well as the Kestrel Elite 5700 AB. It is a difficult choice that you have presented. My advice, given your parameters, would be to buy the Kestrel, and a Pro Chrono Digital for your chrono (a little over 100.00). The Pro Chrono I have is pretty stable under varying lighting conditions, and has shown itself to be on par with the MS3 and Labradar for accuracy. The down side is the setup time, which is a PITA. But, when you're on a budget, you sometimes have to trade convenience for accuracy and price.
If your budget allowed it, I'd recommend the Labradar and Kestrel AB unconditionally.
