Rifle Scopes help me spot a fake ACOG

I found this deal on craigslist for 500 dollars and in my experience when it is to good to be true it usually is. it is a model TA31RCO-A4. If I am not mistaken this model is supposed to have a red fiber optic on top and this one does not. So i just wanted a second opinion on whether or not this is a fake. the reticle is simply a red dot. I don't know to much about these scopes so any help would be greatly appreciated. The seller says that he has the receipt from cabelas but who knows

It's fake, run away. White lettering is bogus, sights don't belong there and the reticle is not correct. Fiber is missing as you noted, it's bullshit.

Shiny finish is wrong, and those cheap adjustment covers scream "I'm made in China!"

Those aren't the best pictures but it looks questionable to me, so I'd be wary until you can get better ones of the areas listed to look at.

It is a fake from what I can see.. All the ACOG's I have seen have the logo casted in the body along with serial/model#.

Does Trigicon make an ACOG with just a red dot? I thought they all had some type of holdover/ranging stadia?

No. The A4 as it's listed specifically has a BDC set up for the 20" M16.
