Can a 22lr conversion kit be made for a DT srs? I know this may be a stupid question but before I get raped let me explain that I did try to research this topic and the question was never really answered. If you can do it with an ar why not an srs? If it's just a matter of " you can buy a better 22 for cheaper" than I want one. Everything we buy we buy because we think it's bad ass not because we think it's the best value.

Would it be easy? No
Would it be cheap? No
Would you have to do a custom bolt, mag, barrel? Yes.
Are there likely many wanting to buy one? Who knows.

I needed a little bit of advice and opinions on this kit. I’ve been getting a few PM’s on the kit since Frank mentioned it. I have a working 223 conversion that we’ve made at the shop. It fed factory ammo really well with a slight stall maybe 4-8% of the time. I can’t get it replicate the issue...

Hey leftyjason, thank you for your research and response to this post. Since I posted this I have done some more research myself and at least for the time being it seems unlikely. I called short action customs yesterday and they said they wouldn't do it.
