I don’t know much about the hk guns. Enclosed is a pic of an hk91 rifle I’m thinking about purchasing. Near as I can tell it’s a 1978 model. What is it worth roughly?? Thanks for any imput guys.

They can be worth more / less depending on the receiver markings. Some of the earlier guns (H/K 41) are very desirable. I own a 91 and 93.

I have a rare .22 L/R conversion kit made specifically for the Semi-Auto 91, NOT the surplus G3 .22 L/R that are commonly seen. My 91 is an early 80's with green furniture and a medium bipod that is mounted just forward of the magazine well.

The wood furniture on the 91 in your picture may be switched out / added. Again, receiver markings are important to know what the rifle is.

Here are the receiver markings if it helps

I have a 93 full kit and had a 91. I replaced the 91 with a PTR. Why? Because the 91 sold for $3200. I bought the equilivent PTR for $800. Don’t know if I’ll sell the 93 if PTR makes one, but I’ll think about it. PTRs are made on the same machines and mostly by the same machinist that built the 91 and 93 for HK. All parts save the trigger group and grip interchange. My thoughts as an owner.

I'm not sure about gun broker, but if you want to know "fair market value" of an item sold on eBay, consider that the winning bid is the sucker, and the second highest bid is the shill. The 3rd highest bid is the "fair price..."
