Now, we need some good Texas, Montana or Wyoming banks to step in and make it a very lucrative and successful business to cater to the 2A industry... and crowds.
There is nothing stopping a bank from saying they are the "Bank of the Constitution" and offering favorable terms to companies committed to abiding by it.
Virtue Signalling can work in multiple directions.
And poor New York... loses the tax revenue. Along with the revenue of the exodus of tax-crushed 'successful' people, fleeing to other states.
States rights... mean that a state has a right to fail miserably. And succeed brilliantly. Let the liberals starve. Eliminating the SALT deductions from federal taxes was brilliant. Now it forces local governments to clean up their acts or... face the consequences. All politics is local. Don't want a**hats in Washington? Don't elect them in Mayberry.

And seen just how intertwined and interconnected the bank chains are.....
And how many local banks are now owned by "Not in country" companies?
Just how many independent banks, or American owned and controlled banks can you name, that aren't tied to "the international banking cartel".
Really like to know that, so I can believe your scenario is possible.

Sir, i do have one problem with part of your scenario though, when you said the disaffected could move out of ny and those sodom places, and those that stayed could reap the benefit of their self created misery, you forget those disaffected already move outs are polluting where they moved to, example California moved to Denver, and other western states, and ny moved to Florida..

Rockstar move by Hornady! They were already at 80% of my bullet drawer and increasing. They are definately at 100% now. Heart felt thanks if any of you Hornady guys are on this site and reading!? Not realistic, but wouldn’t it be something if the whole firearms industry joined them??

Hornady is one of the few that can get away with this, probably the only big name in ammunition left that doesn't have corporate overlords tied to Wall Street. None of the Vista Outdoor or Remington Outdoor (formerly Freedom Group) companies would touch this sort of statement.

The last administration "leaned" on the banks that they had by the short & curlies to make it hard for 2A companies to do business.
This could easily be fixed at the federal level as they lean all over the banking industry to suit political agendas. (like fining banks for not making enough risky home loans, or threatening to seize the bank if they don't do a merger they are ordered to etc.).

Hornady might also be feeling a little bold since the ink has dried on their FBI contract, I don't know that they would have openly taken that stance if they were still in negotiations.

If banks what to cut their own throats that is their choice. I know a few in the repair game that have quit doing anything (no matter the money involved) for libtards at all. It could all become a "Choice" economy rear quick.

Banks are working hard at their own irrelevancy. The time is getting ripe for a secure and privacy based third party system to come in and take shit over. It's a matter of time before they face an "Amazon" like online invasion into their business model the same way brick and mortar is becoming irrelevant.
We were given Hornady a couple years ago. Have had Corbon on and off for many, many years, and are currently issued Winchester.
And not one word about the Mag Floorplate.

To a couple of thoughts questions....
First, I thought about the 'pollution' that east-coasters might bring to more... proper thinking... areas of the country when they move. But remember...Successful people are not all lefties. They tend to be more established... more system-oriented... more likely to fit into the areas they move to. Remember, I am here in Vermontistan... If you think I'd bring a bunch of lefty ideas to, say, Wyoming.... not a chance!
As for the scum-weasels, welfare sh**wads and parasites following? Well, don't make laws that attract them! Here in VT... a major effort was made by Howard Dean and Madeline Kunin... to attract welfare scum to VT... to vote for their leftist crap. Every welfare thing we could not afford... got jammed through by these commies... in order to create a socialist paradise. The takeover of the most conservative state in the Union (VT) was engineered. Not accidental.
As for the banks... some are sure to be more knowledgable than I on the subject. But if a bank is "independent" and not FDIC insured... and not operating across state lines... it does not have to be a 'Fed customer. There are lots of rules, too, that don't apply to Savings and Loan's and Thrifts, etc... that don't rely on the Fed for bailouts, currency floats, etc. If a bank manages its deposits and its loans... it can support whomever it wants. Moreover... who says that things can't change? If some banks wanted to be able to be 2A Banks... Fine. Get some laws passed that let them do it. Or sue the 'Fed and/or the regulators for violation of Constitution or Discrimination. Fed discrimination against Constitutionally-guaranteed activities is a Civil Rights Violation. The current DoJ would be more sympathetic than the last...
But I think there are options for financial institutions (maybe not call them banks?) should allow flexibilitty... in right-thinking states.
So, anyway..... where there is a will, there is a way!

I shot for Hornady many years ago and had the pleasure of touring the manufacturing facility and meeting folks like Steve H. This was certainly a class move by them. Will it impact NY, probably not, but it certainly sets a precedent.
All my reloading equipment and bullets are 85% Hornady anyway. Best blend of budget and quality IMO. Now it will likely increase. Just made a Midway order today for 330 dollars that was 80% Hornady products. Not a big purchase but I do that same thing at least x2 a month. By the way Midway has free shipping until midnight tonight even on most sale products.
One thing I wish we could all understand is WE have to join forces and work together. It's only when we stand together that we can make a difference. I've seen similar trings happen when 'traditional' bow hunters get angry at hunters using compound bows. WE are all on the same side. If more companies followed Hornady's example think of what could happen. Retailers, ammo manufacturers, accessory makers, hunters, and gun makers would make a hell of a team.
Rather than complaining on groups, like the NRA, help the fight. I'm not saying we have to agree with everything every group does, and yes, there are fringe groups that shouldn't have any voice, but we all are fighting for our collective guns.

It would be awesome if EVERY gun and ammo manufacturer and reseller would refuse to do any business with the State of New York. No guns or ammo for you law enforcement. Make your own or don't use it since your residents per their elected officials don't want guns in New York. Why would you want your police to have them too?
