Have searched high/low here, Brownells/Sinclair, most of the usual suspects-anyone know where to dig up a modified case for Hornady OAL loaded length gauge for 6.5x47. Thanks for any leads.
Just send a spent case to Hornady and they will drill and tap the case for you. You'll need to include a return envelope with postage. I got mine back in less that 2 weeks.

+1
You will have a modified case that is custom formed to your chamber.
Hornady may have one, I've ordered from them in the past when all vendors were out of stock. You might get it sooner this way, as they may fill their orders first?????
must be 5/16-32, as an industry drill/tap chart i've got open right now shows 5/16-18/24/32-no 36, unless it's a proprietary thread. anyone care to throw in?
I went thru the same thing... all I could figure is its thread pitch was .70mm not the standard metric fine thread of .75
I got nowhere after that so i to am interested in this tap size.
