Rifle Scopes How Does Mark 2s Hold Up To VX IIIs?

I'm looking at getting a Leupold Mark 2 3-9x40mm Tactical Hunter.

I want to compare it to a Leupold VX III, but it's not available in 3-9, but a 3.5-10x40mm instead.

When looking at the averages of these 2 scopes, the Mark 2 is about $30 higher, even though the the VX has a higher power.

Has anyone used both of these scopes and have any comparisons? What do you know or what type of experience have you had with the Mark 2 in question?

Do you feel one of these is better? If so, why, and what features make one better than the other?

I have been really happy with the Mark AR / Mark 2. I have used the VX3 and the MARK 2 and I would prefer to use a Mark AR over the VX3.

Keep in mind the turret options you have on a MK 4 and the VXIII.
