IMO I do not think antifa threats really deterred attendance. Threats of false-flag and fear of being labeled probably did...(think those nazi dudes that got picked up and trumpeted across media).
I have said this a few times 2Aers are fickle and are a private bunch. Lots of worry about being labeled. Was good to see them out today in any considerable numbers mingling about with each other...
A VERY MUCH needed step in a positive direction.
Hopefully with the success of the rally 2Aers who sat-out will get more more comfortable in the public space.
IMO, this will require 2Aers to stop being afraid of labels. Additionally, 2Aers will eventually learn that they cannot control the actions of others and that "mainstream media optics" will never...ever, be 2A friendly. In fact the mainstream media will do whatever they can to portray 2Aers in a negative manner.

But hmmm, what demographics are seeing the largest percentage increase in CCW permits?

This worries the F out of those in power who want to strip 2A rights. When they can no longer label 2Aers then the issue will once again become what it has always truly been...which is IMO a fundamental CIVIL RIGHTS issue.
BTW, in no way am I saying I am immune to anything I posted above.
