Like the post says. Was sitting thinking last What is average for a person to have. Just be interesting to to see how many have the minimum and who takes it over the top! Personally I feel like you can never have too many.

I have 6 1/2

22, 22mag, 22-250, 6mm Creedmore, 260, 6.5 Creedmore, 7mm SAUM, 7-300, 300wm, 338 Lapua I'm sure I am forgetting a few. 8 of those are full custom builds. 2 with Proof barrels

I only own one bolt gun and that’s it, the RPR .308. I shoot long range anywhere out to 1000 yards, but I also don’t mind just benching it at 100.

My only other gun isn’t a bolt, the Remington 597. That’s for indoor winter or if I don’t feel like reloading and just wanna go plink quick and cheap.

I used to own a few vintage bolt rifles. One 91/30 Mosin Nagant, one Archangel 91/30 Mosin Nagant, and a Turkish 8mm Mauser. They were fun but I sold them to fund the RPR.

22, 17hmr, 223ai, 6.5x47, 308, 30-06, and 7rm. I have too many and am working on thinning it out a bit. Just got rid of 300wm, 308, 338lapua.

not counting 22's, im trying to keep it between 6-8

that number fits in the safe with out the scopes getting crushed and gets me a good mix of history and innovation.

"tactical" AX short and MC and DT (trying to stop there)

tac ops (always wanted one, dont shoot it much anymore but i cant bring myself to sell it yet)

30-06 from when i was a kid, that one has stories and scars to it

2 customs (308 and 300 win mag) before i woke up and bought the AI's (sold off 2 other customs that were sitting in the safe collecting dust and gave another one to my brother)
fathers browning BAR in 30-06 beautiful stock.

funny part is that one of the customs that i kept is actually a Tactical Rifles (yes that company), but its from 2006-7 before they shit the bed. its a honest .3 MOA rifle with FGMM 168 and about .4 FGMM with 175's. with a bunch of 1/4 moa groups as well.

One lightweight custom 300 WM for hunting up hills. that may be the only one i change out for a nicer rifle one day.

1933 german mauser from oberndorf factory matching numbers, last of the "civilian" mausers. but these were actually issued to home guard/postal/train service, before they became the SS.

since the chassis craze has taken over, i fell that a couple of good barreled actions (one light, heavy barrel, inside 1000 yards, outside 1000 yards etc) can be had and then just change out the chassis/play barbie if needed

i always/like every day want to buy more but i have to stop myself. i just dont shoot enough to warrant it, rifles are made to be shot not sit there.

had a shit load more over the years but i never really sold rifles except for the past few customs so i usually let a family member use them and never asked for them back. never liked taking money from family, felt weird to me when they could just ask and borrow anyway.

Have a Rem 700 SPS Tac in .223 in a B&C Medalist stock, timney 510 and Viper PST Gen II. Only other is an Anschutz 1416HB. Been looking at something larger like possibly a 6.5 Grendel, 6mm Creedmoor or 6.5 Creedmoor...we'll see...

I have at least 7, 2 precsion rifles 1 in 308 and 1 in 6.5 Super LR with another in the works. A couple of huntig rifles a 257 Roberts and 25-06 and a bunch of 22's

1898 Krag, M1903 Unertl, No.1 mk3, No.5 mk1, K98k, 91/30 PU sniper, K31 (kind of counts?), a .22lr, Mausingfield 6.5 creed, Nucleus 300 PRC, and a CZ 527 that will be either a 6 or 6.5 Grendel of some form.

11 I guess. Only frequently shoot 2 though.
