Hello yall, so Im on a college student budget and in the market for a medium-heavy barreled .308 in the 350-550$ price range. Ive mostly narrowed it down to these three although Im open to other options but these three seem to have the best reputation for accuracy when it comes to the price.
My main question is, I will not be using a bipod, but instead plan to set it up with a sling and use that for shooting support. Will the stocks on these rifles be stiff enough to hold up under a sling`s stress without flexing to the point of throwing shots? My main goal here is to get my hands on something that will let me reach 7-800 yards with as much consistency as I can muster.
Havent even started thinking about scopes, but thinking something around a 10x or 3-9x will do the job, but in that regard I want to find an optic that is also very budget-friendly but the same time as repeatable as the price-point allows...
Thanks for any and all replies.
Blake.
