Hey all,

I think it is time to put my 1500 LA into a chassis. I really like the appearance of the KRG Bravo however they refuse to make it for anything other than the SA. I also like the Roedale RCS ii but there is no way I will do business with them unless they've gotten better over the years. Basically I am searching for a Sako TRG-22/42 chassis that will work with the Howa or a company that has blanks that they fit for certain actions. Is there anything like this out there? Thanks in advance.

BROWNELLS HAS A FEW OPTIONS FOR THE HOWA 1500 LONG ACTION

The only one I am familiar with in the Sako style is the KRG Bravo, and unfortunately it’s only available for short action Howas. In fact, there are only a few aftermarket chassis or stocks for Howas period, and even fewer for the long actions! It’s a shame because my two Howas (both SA) are buttery smooth and have great triggers right out of the box. Your choices are pretty much limited to an aluminum chassis with an AR-style pistol grip and either an AR-style stock or a skeleton stock. I ended up going with an XLR Gen 2 Element chassis with their tactical buttstock, and I am VERY pleased with it. That combo is a shooter!
