Howdy from So Cal desert

Hey y'all, new guy checking in. I'm a pro photographer in the So Cal desert. I've also been a gun nut for a while and always admired long range target shooting but never taken the plunge until now. Ive been lurking and learning here for a while, reading and watching a couple of the vids. I'm putting together a couple target rifles, which are just about done. Here's what I'm building:

Lefty Rem 700 300 win mag
AICS 2.0 stock
Atlas bipod
muzzle break
PTG bolt
Vortex Razor HD scope
Badger base/rings

M1A scout
JAE Gen 3 stock (waiting...)
GG&G heavy pod
ACOG TA11E/GDI mount

Now if I could only learn how to shoot them! If there are any So Cal meetups/shootouts I would love to come.

Checkout Desert Marksmen Rifle and Pistol Club. They hold 600yd (from the bench) and 1000yd (prone position) matches.

Do some of the CAPRC clinics at Angeles Ranges, then invest in some good steel targets and practice in the much abundant BLM land out near Barstow.
