Our gas stations are completely out of gas already and people were just short of mobbing the delivery truck with the new cases of water. I doubt you'll be able to find 1 generator or 1 bottle of water right now in eastern NC.

People apparently fail to guess that while the water is still running, you could fill up all your pots, pans, cups, bowls, canteens and bathtubs etc.
Ya while I was living over in Malaysia we had a massive flood happened. Everyone was getting sick since the water (which normally isn't safe to drink) was extremely contaminated. Just make sure to cover the water if at all possible to keep it cleaner. If you need to shower and you don't have any water the next best thing is baby powder/gold bond. Just put some in your hand and rub over your body. It doesn't sound like it helps but believe it or not it wicks away the seat, a lot of dirt will fall off and you feel a lot cleaner as well!
