Second Im not buying that Kashoggis Furby recorded the death.

The Iwatch/cloud story came out after it broke to explain how Turkey knew there was a murder.

Turkey has the Consulate (Sovereign Saudi Territory) bugged and perhaps has some 'splaining of their own to do.

Khashoggi was journalist, and in the eyes of the press that renders him a more worthwhile human being than the rest of us. Journalist is sort of qualifier on the value of his life.

Earlier this year the Journalist Protection Act (H.R.4935) was put forth to make it a federal crime to assault a journalist in the process of gathering news. I apply my Mom Test to this proposed legislation: if my mom were assaulted while performing momish activities like say, in the process of gathering together the family for my great aunts 90th birthday. I wonder, should her attacker(s) suffer greater punishment than if Anderson Cooper were assaulted in the process of pretending to stand on a flooded roadway, or if Paul Krugman were assaulted while engrossed in predicting that the internet would never be any more significant than the fax machine?

No. The lives of Krugman and Cooper are not important than that of my mom. Nor is Khashoggi's.

It is too bad that Khashoggi got killed like he did. It sucks for his family, his bride-to-be, and mostly for him. Roughly 1,233 people were murdered somewhere in the world on the same day that Khashoggi was murdered. At least one of those was a beheading at the hands of the Saudi Arabian government for the crime of witchcraft. I do not know his name, undoubtedly because he was not a journalist. I do not think witchcraft all that different from Krugman assuming the role of a NYT iteration of Nostrodamus.

Too bad, indeed. But fuck this story. Fuck Saudi Arabia too.

I think its great points to bring up seth rich and bengahzi. Here is a new media physics formula. For every liberal outrage there is a equal or more deserving damaging story that has been swept under the rug. The foggy aspect of this whole story is that he is a columnist for WaPo. So, that doesn't make him a journalist. He is a propagandist, plain and simple and he has played sides since the Afganistan War... err... the one with the Russians....

He played both sides to promote the Muslim Brotherhood and the Sauds did not like it and finally put a stop to it.

The problem is that the MSM and outrage is treating him like he went to the Colombia School of Journalism since birth and he is a Pulitzer candidate....
