I have the CovAIDS :)

92 year old mother got it-confirmed ahead of new year (2 tests-one initially and one several days later). She was down with a "cold" for 5 days. 2 days she felt "really tired."

She is diabetic (type II), immune system is shot. Kidneys failing (she is 92 yrs old). Stents from several decades prior.

She managed with fluids and soup (Doctors would not prescribe her more w/o shortness of breath or fever 100+ .) Last 3 days-crabby as shit but feeling fine. Reckon most folks will do the same. PS: Fuck these health care "professionals."

Fluids, rest and fuck the CCP. Just sayin'.

Mom is German through and through and raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm. Hard as wood pecker lips. If'n you are not, learn from your elders. It'll be okay; if'n you want.

An opinion.

Live your lives - it'll be okay. Pretty sure.

Also, an opinion.

This country is a hot mess....

Several people have actually had it with no symptoms. Antibody tests are available if you’re super curious.

Or, you could just run through a bunch of public restrooms, touch everything and rub your eyes.

Fuck yeah. Don’t dip your hand in the toilet and touch your eyeballs though.

I'm joining the natural immunity master race, guys.

It's not too bad. The sore throat is brutal though. Aparrently I got the Omicron variant as the throat problem is really common with that one.

I'm on ivermectin, but I think I may have started it a little too late as I thought this was allergies at first.

Well, good news is you'll live.

Bad news is its probably HIV.

I had it, I’ve had worse, ate some oranges and hydrated, back to 100% in 3ish days.

(I did NOT get the government forced injections)

Not worth destroying the country over, but folks love their fear porn 🤷‍♂️

My wife and I both got sick and lost taste and smell at the beginning of Nov. I thought I had a stomach bug, and maybe I did. I was tired for a couple days, never spiked a fever. For about a week I would feel sick for 5-10 minutes out of every hour or so. It took about a month to feel 100%. Same for her. My wife had some respiratory symptoms like a sinus infection. I got a little baby cough after I was feeling better. I never had a runny nose or anything that would indicate a respiratory infection.

The test said negative for COVID19. Must have been one of them unidentified upper respiratory infections that up until 2019 killed about 200k people per year.

My sense of smell comes and goes.

My favorite line i hear daily at work. It can't be COVID, I am "FULLY VACCINATED."

Yea, and hows that wurkin out fer ya? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

quick poll of friends and their close family members

23 people have it. 22 of them have the Jab and boosters.

one person without Jab is 30's and healthy, feels like a cold.

All ages with the Jab feel much worse.

I know a couple guys on here that have lingering effects from it.
My cousin (44 yrs old, fitter than can be, no med issues, does chew tobacco) had it in Aug and still can't smell a darn thing. no other effects though
His wife says he burned that out with farts and its not COVID related.

I don’t understand the infatuation with running to get a test. I would stay away from at risk family members if I was sick regardless if I tested for Covid. If this country or my employer actually recognized recovered immunity I’d have played the game, went through the quarantine and added to the positivity numbers. I did go get an antibodies test after the fact to prove I had it in the hopes that eventually natural immunity will be recognized. I’d also like to donate blood for monoclonal antibody treatments because that really helped my grandma but I believe they make you show a positive test.

Yes mam. Him and every other little kid when its cold and dry. Here is what you do. You get sick by touching things sickies rub their germs on, then rubbing your eyes, nose, or mouth. Wash your hands, don't touch your face, cover your coughs and sneezes, and stay home when you are sick.

I will never take Trump's vaccine. :sneaky:

Probably because some companies have different policies if you have the RONA. For example, where I work, if you test positive for COVID19, you don't have to use sick days while you are out. You are payed, and those days are counted towards contract days worked.

Fauchi's vaccine.
Trump was just dumb enough to let him stay on the payroll to fuck things up.

PUSH CART TIME!!

Wifes a nurse and tests twice a week. She just got a call that she tested positive... again.

Paid vacation for her.

Who knew?
Isn’t it funny how suddenly this is the only sickness to ever put people off work with no symptoms at all? Like, if she were never tested, she would just go on about her work and do what she do.... because she wasn't sick.

It's stupid as fuck. Virus so bad that you have to take a test to find out if you have it or not.

She's happy to get a surprise paid 10 day vacation.

Wife and I had a cold last week, treated it the same as always, with nothing other than a couple extra shots of airborne for the extra vit C and an onguard beadlet. Usually i try to remember to start taking that beadlet at the beginning of fall and all the way thru winter. Forgot this year. We've been on zinc, d, c & quartecin for the last 2 years. We take it year around.

My wife had it the first 2 weeks of December 2021 and now she has it again. Which they say that is not possible but she has been tested 3 times this week for Covid and for type 1 and type 2 flu with negative results for flu.
She has flu like symptoms, low fever and congestion and cough.
As far as I know I haven’t had it yet.
At least that’s what my test results say.

If you go take a public test you are on thier radar.

If you take a home test you are uncertain.

If you see your doctor you can bet they turn you in.

I predict the most lucrative black market drugs will be covid recovery meds and fake jab documents.

Soon to he seen at a cartell dealer near you.

My son now has the coof. He had a low grade fever yesterday, a stuffy nose and said that he feels a little achy. The F’n school asked if he had been vaccinated. I told them no. I don’t need him having heart problems along with the common cold. The nurse proceeded to tell me that he will have to stay home for 10 days. If had been jabbed, he could come back in 5 days. What a joke these dumb bastards are.

My employer hasn’t been paying anyone to sit at home since last year so my decision was easy. At this point everyone who is scared of it should have gotten the “vaccine “ or continued to hide in their houses. It’s time to get shit done without milking the quarantine system.
I burned vacation time. Have a new hire that got it and he asked about them gub'ment stay at home dollars. I told him he was fucked! That shit got scrapped a year ago.

Yeah I don’t get that ether, it doesn’t do anything beneficial for the person with the sniffles.

And if you’re sick you should (as always) stay your ass at home, be it covid or whatever else, just good manners.

Yeah, that’s been my biggest issue with Trump, he knew it was all BS, but with re election time he caved trying to appease the un-appeasable, should have given fauchi his walking papers and said we ain’t playing the covid game, we will leave this decision to the individual but it’s business as normal just like with swine flu, the yearly flu, etc, but no chinese are coming in and we are working with our allies at sanctions on china and blockaids for “health reasons”.

I've had the kung flu for a little over a week now. Didn't have a bad case of it, mostly head cold type congestion, body aches, etc. But the rapidity of the hot/cold/hot and the shivers with no fever at all are weird as hell. I've also had some random CNS stuff that's weird as shit. Like legs tingling like when they fall asleep and come back, but they never were asleep. Also, any exertion sky-rockets my heart rate. Bio-weapons are weird shit. I'm on day three of Ivermectin and Doxycycline, and feel a hell of a lot better already.

I have to be tested for work. If I'm negative, I can go back after 24 hours with no fever. BTW, my test was negative. Seems I just have the flu. Go figure.

This allows them to keep "unvaccinated" on the case count longer. What is even dumber, if you do the serial testing at school in CO. You don't have to quarantine after exposure. But if you do not, and walk down the hallway with the someone who tests positive its 10 days away from school. The kids with jobs, just go to work for the week. Work says, check your temp, no temp GTG.

Serial testing draws names out a hat, and test those names that week. Winners of getting tested get prizes.

I agree with the public testing sentiment. If you are sick stay home they aren't getting you anything except a long wait in line.

I was bad enough I got a dr appointment to get some more advanced treatment. Of course to get any treatment you have to be tested. So I hauled my ass to the dr office and got tested.

My Beef was the response was "Quarantine"

well no shit sherlock. I'm sick, I'll stay home. I didn't need to get tested for that. I saw the doc because it was tough to swallow (insert joke here) for three days and I've been coughing like a TB patient for 2 weeks. No treatments available--even though during our call the Doc said and I quote "We'll test you for Covid and STrep and then if positive we can perscribe treatments from there". Well wtf was the test for then assholes? Ironically work (which has a bunch of research doctors) is "get to your doctor so you can get treatment" but my doctor is like "Take OJ and Tylenol" and apparently we are out of antibodies. Both my wife and my boss (who is an MD) want me in the hospital and I told them (in gentler terms) FUCK NO.

I can't troll the forums from the hospital and while I've been sick a long time and have no voice, there is 0 fucking chance you get me in hospital while I can stand.

Edit: I had the damdest convo with my sleep Doctor the other day. I need a new CPAP for snoring. I told him I was COVID positive (which is why i couldn't talk) and he asked why I didn't have my booster. I said I am not eligible for my booster (as if this has any bearing on sleep apnea). I told him I have not met CDC guidelines, and he pressed me when I was getting my booster.

If I've had my initial jabs. Then got COIVD (presumable OMICRON--you are required to say that in the most ominous voice possible), does that not trump a booster which the vaccines are largely ineffective against? AND WHY ARE YOU ASKING THIS AS A SLEEP DOCTOR.

I'm not getting the free pizza with multiple jabs....

I don't know anybody in Texas that hasn't been sick in the past few weeks, but Xiden is sending "medical teams" (and money) to assist spikes in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, New Mexico, and Rhode Island. No bias there...
