...but for less than $700, the new Mossberg MMR tactical is pretty damn well made for a brand new AR.

I got to see one yesterday up close, and was very surprised at the overall quality for a gun that cheap.

Didn't get to shoot it yet, hope to this weekend, but overall I was pretty impressed with what I saw.

Not that it's ever going to replace your Noveske or POF, but the pricepoint really grabs your attention.

Take a look at one if you get a chance, it's a lot nicer weapon than I'd anticipated for the price.

Looks like no forward assist and trigger guard is part of the grip. Interesting...

Mossberg has actually been making alot of AR barrels for a few manufacturers for awhile..

Oh wow I'm a big fan of mossberg shotguns, so this is interesting. I hope some one posts a range report soon. I might need to get one of these I like the mmr hunter model. I have had great luck with there shotguns, it would be great if these preformed like there shotguns.
