Rifle Scopes I need a new scope....

It will be used for a combination of hunting/tactical tasks so Looking for a FFP scope with mil/mil turrets and reticle. I want clear glass and side parallax adj.

Prefer a power range of 4-16 (not 5-20) with an front objective size not to exceed 50mm so I don't have to mount it so high on the rifle. 30mm tube preferred over larger tubes.

I've looked at Vortex and Bushnell but need something to compare them to. Probably do not want to exceed $1500 but depends.

I would go with a Vortex. Ive been looking into them a lot and about to purchase a 6-24x50 Viper PST for my 700 in 243.

Take a look at liberty optics, the IOR 4-16x50 FFP is just about exactly what you are describing.

A bit over 1500, but when you consider that it comes with a very high quality set of either aluminum or steel rings (normally about 120 bucks), it becomes a very good deal.

Doesn't hurt that right now you get a free pair of bino's.

I would look at the Millett line. They are pretty cheap and i've had one on my .300 Howa. Holds a zero great and its really one of the better i've used for under $1000. Mine is a 4-16x50 LRT. I almost like it better than my Leupold Mk 4

I dont have a vortex, but I do like Bushnell scopes!
