Here are a couple Zeiss 1.5-6x42 west German IDF scopes. I think these were on the Mauser SP 66 rifles they used for a time. They are booth beat ,scratched ,painted multiple times, with specks on the inside of the lense . The lenses are lightly scratched and I think they lost there seal but they still work . Picked them up about 20 years ago. Enjoy

Do these have any IDF markings on them? I know this is the "factory" scope fpor the Mauser 66SP, but wasn't sure if the IDF used (or even procured) this particular scope.

Thanks,
Trog

I have a Mauser 66S that I fully believe to be "SP" but it lacks the "P" on the model identification, it came through with a Carl Zeiss DIAVARI-DA 1,5-6x with the "Large" elevation cap that bears the Mauser logo three times around the circumference of the cap.
At the same time I purchased mine my best friend bought the sister to it, however the scope was a different model/maker I don't recall which; it looked the same as the Zeiss, but something was different.....

I've only seen that mount on a 66 SP. They're pretty rare, I had a few for sale a while back, but there wasn't much interest.

It holds zero well, and I really love that Simrad cap on yours! (If you sell a spare or even that one, please let me know!)
