I would pay the A-Team to go kidnap Terry Cross, then move him and his shop to a undisclosed location in Northern Idaho or Montana. I'd have him...no I'd make him (he's is gunsmith-napped you know) build me a Sentinel in every caliber imaginable. When he was done I'd then have him start on load development for all of them, then crank out a few thousand rounds for each.

Or, I'd just call and ask him to do it and offer lots of money, but the A-Team idea sounds so much cooler.

Heh...I wish. Just looking for some ideas to put some money I will be getting soon to use.

Since I started this thread, here is what I got on the want list so far:

1. Bolt action - Desert Tactical .338 Lapua with custom 26" carbon fiber AMU or M24 barrel. One of SPUR's rings to go with the March 2.5-24x42 scope. SAS brake/suppressor mount. SAS .338 suppressor.

2. Semi auto - Bushmaster ACR with a carbon fiber wrapped 21.75" barrel. A carbon fiber Lion suppressor. March 1-10x26mm scope with SPUR's new cool mount with the level built in. Some sort of adjustable rear stock.

1. PALADIN 155MM. AND ENOUGH SHELLS TO SHOOT 50 A DAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
2.40 OR 50 SQ MILES OF LAND.
3.ELECTRIC FENCING AND CLAYMORES AROUND MY LAND AND A SH*T LOAD OF KEEP OUT SIGNS. AND A CREMATORIUM FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO CAN'T READ.
4.3500SQFT HOME,7000SQFT WORKSHOP, 14'000SQFT GUN ROOM/SAFE.

fwiw & imho,
Have multiple rifles that fit your descriptions from AIAWs on down. That said the next rifle I buy when 10-11K becomes available is a Martini & Hagn Single Shot in .300 Winchester Magnum...

I'd buy a PSS and customize it with some leather tassels and a can of Krylon, then I'd build a range complex somewhere windy.

1. Pay off every bill I have.
2. Setup a trust for each one of my kids.
3. Buy a VERY large chunk of real-estate in a difficult to access area and build a small cabin and barn on it.
4. Spend a couple hundred grand on some fun guns (whatever catches my fancy)
5. Buy horses for the wife.
6. Invest the rest with several reputable firms with some in aggressive funds and some in conservative funds so I have ammo money for the rest of my life.

what KIND of guns is really immaterial because with that kind of cash I don't have to worry about little matters like that. If I buy a gun and don't like it the depreciation is not an issue. All of the REALLY expensive stuff doesn't really depreciate.

Bolt: Remington MSR with all available calibers and barrel lengths, fitted for the AAC Ti can, topped with a Hensoldt.

Semi: KAC Mk11 with factory suppressor, topped with a Hensoldt.

Extra barrels and spare parts for both. About a hundred mags for each.

Then I would buy the equivalent of a small ammo factory and hire someone to develop and crank out custom loads for both rifles.

I would get 3 or 4 rifles each from Jered(APA) and George (GAP)
because they both build great guns and after meeting them, I
want both. 308, 7 WSM, and 223.

I would buy a giant piece of land where you could shoot over 2000 yards if you felt like it. Invite everyone who wants to shoot there for free. Build custom rifles and give them away to those who can't afford them but love to shoot. Dreaming, fun and free, can't beat that. Thanks guys

I thought this question was just about rifle selections (I think that you would have to have a lot more money than just Powerball winnings to have a private Air Force), so I'm sticking with just that:

1. Bolt action: .408 Cheytac M200
Runners up: AIAW 50, PGW TImberwolf .338LM, GAP M40A5 Clone (with the NV and SF Suppressor), McMillan Tac 50.

2. Semi-Auto: KAC M-110 SASS
Runners Up: LaRue OBR (got one of those on order, I would pay someone off to jump in line), LWRC REPR 18", FN SCAR-H (not really a sniping weapon, but still really cool).
