If the population over there is a rubber band, it seems like they have not been nearly pulled towards the breaking point yet. I don't know what other outrageous shit will have to be passed over their heads before they wake up and decide it is time to start taking their dignities back.
These people seem to be way too happy and optimistic...or perhaps shortsighted...for their own good.

I don't think they are happy far from it, but for many people women especially, pulling up stakes leaving family behind and moving to a completely different country is too much for them to handle. They don't know what to do, what can they do ? When I was thinking about coming here people asked "what if they throw you out," My response was , in that case I have lost nothing. I took a chance.
I remember a time in the UK when people could own any rifle of hand gun, those days are long gone, now it's a Nazi state jam packed with muslims. The UK has twice the population of Canada in a land area half the size of Saskatchewan. People are not meant to live that way.

I hope a lot of people will leave the UK and go elsewhere like the US. I have plenty of friends from that part of the world. They are super cool people (those who are not libtards). A lot of important designs and innovations in small arms history came from the UK. Shame to see a long and rich culture being disassembled like a meth tweaker trying to take a TV set apart.

Well I live in the UK and I'm not exactly defenceless! I think we are a very different society to the US. You can still own guns here but you have to pass a long police screening process. It's not a big deal but you can't own a gun if you have any kind of criminal record so guns being used in a crime are still very rare here. We don't have to carry guns with the fear of being attacked because any nut job can go to Wal Mart and buy one. When I go to a range I know that everyone shooting there will have had to pass the same screening process and have undertaken mandatory gun safety training. Our rifle clubs are largely self policing.
Don't get me wrong we are being slowly taken over by our own Communists, snowflakes and libtards and our politics at the moment are a complete fucking mess but out overall crime level is still relatively low and it still feels like a very safe place to live. As for population density, I agree some of our cities are hugely overpopulated and are starting to split into ghetto areas but I live in Northumberland, this is the lowest populated area of England, once I get out on the Moors here its deserted. Not criticising the US at all but England isn't all bad and I fear you will only see what the media wants you to see whenever you see a report on the UK.......

I grew up in the UK and know the system well enough to realise that it's less trouble to leave the country than to get a UK firearm certificate which will not allow you to own handguns or semi auto rifles other than rimfire rifles.
The US can be gun friendly depending on which part you live, but so can Canada which is where I live... I can own as many rifles as I can afford to buy, I don't even know how many I own. Ammo and hand guns are freely available too. I do know I own only 4 hand guns

The preservation of the right to defend yourself, your family and loved ones, and your country is a big deal isn’t it? I think the issue is too many people are “okay” with more restrictions. Living there he has no choice, it's put up with it or get out.... I had guns in the UK back when hand guns and semi auto centerfire rifles were allowed.. I was convicted of not registering a bird, ( yes some birds have to be registered in the UK ) I then had all my firearms confiscated because I had a criminal conviction.
TPTB will only let you have a firearm if they have no choice, If they do let you have one they will jump at the first opportunity to take it from you.

Apart from the police one of the main obstacles from being able to shoot in the UK is the lack of suitable places.... Britain is tiny and jam packed full of people, there is hardly enough room to swing a cat.
Just to give an idea how small and overcrowded the UK is, consider that the UK only has one time zone, it's roughly half the size of Saskatchewan but with twice the population of Canada ! .......... I would rather blow my brains out than return to England.

In terms of suitable places to shoot I have a world class clay ground on my doorstep and 6 rifle ranges all within a 90 minute drive ( including a 2 mile gong range).

I have shot both of them but mainly shoot the MkIII as the barrel is thicker and has a faster rifling twist. It was the first purpose built breech loading rifle in the British army. The MkII* was originally a muzzle loader
