Suppressors I'm looking to purchase a threaded 1911 barrel ??

Re: I'm looking to purchase a threaded 1911 barrel ??

Barsto, Kart, Nowlin, Storm Lake.

Then have a competent 1911 smith cut, thread and install it.

Bottom line, just call a good smith.

You omitted Jarvis.

Actually to be fair, ANY quality manufactured barrel will do just fine. Proper fitting is the key provided the barrel is good to begin with.

Hence why I emphasize contacting a smith.

Re: I'm looking to purchase a threaded 1911 barrel ??

Storm Lake told me since mine was a 4" barrel for a Springfield Champion it would be a one of a kind deal and it would run me about $ 800.00! That's right eight hundred bucks with the threading and thread protector. Way steep in my opinion...........

They make good barrels but I will not deal with them again. Too many lies on the phone and by email about my order and my product. Took them almost 6 months to deliver IIRC.

I've heard about Jarvis from other sources too. I'm in the market for one for a gov't length gun I'm building on a Caspian frame and slide. Gonna have to tag this one to see how it plays out before I order my barrel.

I have Jarvis barrels on a Sig, 2 HKs, and will be getting another for a 1911 and another HK. I have yet to have a single critique for his product quality and function.
