imperial application media problem

My graphite keeps clumping and does not distribute in the media. Has anyone else run into this?

Yes and that's why I went with a collet neck die

Did you get it wet, or did you add too much to the media? The ceramic balls only need a dusting of the graphite.

If it was moist, I would dump some out on a sheet of paper and try to dry it in the oven at low heat for a few mins. Otherwise, I would just use much less when adding it to the media
