IMO, temp sensitivity has been way over emphasized...especially for a 308.I finally moved to a ball powder for my reloading. I use AA2520 which has the burn rate of 4895. I've settled on 41.5 grains in a military case using a 178 hpbt. I can throw charges on tge money 95% and the other 5% within .2 of a grain. I loaded 500 rounds a couple of weeks ago in about 2 hours. Now some are going to come along and say its temp sensitive and it is just as is 4895 but neither are a big deal as long as you are not at maximum charges. You just have to keep good dope, you know? Like we had to do in the old days...
